We had the pleasure of hiring Sakis and Maria to come to the house we were renting and cook for us, and the experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish.
Both of them were incredibly warm, friendly, and highly professional. They made our rented home feel like a fine dining restaurant while still keeping everything relaxed and personal.
The Greek food they prepared was outstanding—authentic, full of flavor, and clearly made with great skill and passion. It was exactly what I had hoped for when booking them, and even better in reality.
They truly helped make my birthday celebration unforgettable for the whole group. Having them cook in the house we were renting added something very special to the evening, and we will remember it for a long time.

Hired Cretan Catering for my bachelorette last August. They catered all 3 meals for 3 days + a sunset cocktail/charcuterie hour and it was exceptional! The girls who came still talk about how good the food was from the trip now (almost a year later). Not only was the food delicious and platted with the detail of a Michelin restaurant, the chefs and staff are extremely professional! The service is of a very high level, the timing was always perfect and they were able to work with me on specific menu ideas.
We even had some delays on our end with timing and they were able to adjust to our schedule last minute (sorry!) we also had some girls with severe allergies and the team handled it all so seamlessly!
BTW, I highly recommend getting their cocktails too! I cannot wait until I fly back to Crete to hire them again!
We had the pleasure of having Sakis as our private chef for the second year in a row during a longer stay in Crete — and once again, it was absolutely fantastic.
Sakis is not only an incredibly talented chef, but also a wonderful person. He always paid close attention to our wishes and preferences, was warm, professional, and made every single meal feel special. The food was consistently phenomenal — fresh, high-quality, authentic Greek cuisine with a creative touch.
What we especially loved were all the little extras and surprises he added along the way. You can truly feel how passionate he is about what he does and how much he cares about creating an unforgettable experience for his guests.
We would book Sakis again anytime and honestly recommend him only with mixed feelings… because secretly, we hope he’ll still have availability for us next year and won’t be completely booked out 🙂

"The experience we had with Sakis was from the beginning to the end simply amazing. The communication was very easy and he was very courteous with our wishes. He adapted all our wishes for the menu and even prepared a vegan menu for one of us. He was perfectly on time and not only very kind but also we barely noticed him and his colleague because they blended in so quietly and were two heartwarming personalities. Now to the food: Not only was the food very nicely presented, it also tasted amazing- every single dish we had. He really thought the menu through and every bight was a delight with exceptional details. Every single one of our dinner was more than satisfied and we all would recommend him instantly.
